Gee's Wineshop is an award-winning, family-run off-licence based in the Waterside, Northern Ireland. The business offers an extensive range of wines, beers, spirits, and premium drinks, alongside local delivery and drinks packages for weddings and events. Known for its excellent customer service and strong reputation within the local community, Gee's combines the personal touch of an independent retailer with a modern, customer-focused shopping experience.
The challenge was to transform Gee's Wineshop into a fully featured digital retail platform, combining a high-performance eCommerce website with dedicated iOS and Android apps. The solution needed to support a large product catalogue, local delivery, secure payments, promotional offers, and a seamless shopping experience across all devices while preserving the brand's friendly, local identity.
I designed and developed a fully responsive eCommerce website that delivers a fast, intuitive shopping experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Built on WooCommerce with a range of custom functionality, the platform allows customers to easily browse products, discover special offers, place secure online orders, and choose between local delivery or collection. To extend the customer experience beyond the web, I also developed dedicated iOS and Android applications, giving customers a native mobile shopping experience while maintaining full synchronisation with the website's products, pricing, and promotions. The solution was optimised for speed, security, and scalability, providing Gee's Wineshop with a reliable digital platform capable of supporting future growth and ongoing product management.
